وَالذّٰرِیٰتِ ذَرۡوًا ۙ﴿۱﴾

ওয়াযযা-রিয়া-তি যারওয়া-।

শপথ ধূলি ঝঞ্ঝার,

By (the winds) that scatter dust.

فَالۡحٰمِلٰتِ وِقۡرًا ۙ﴿۲﴾

ফাল হা-মিলা-তি বিকরা-।

শপথ বোঝা বহনকারী মেঘপুঞ্জের,

And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water;

فَالۡجٰرِیٰتِ یُسۡرًا ۙ﴿۳﴾

ফালজা-রিয়া-তি ইউছরা-।

অতঃপর স্বচ্ছন্দ গতিময় নৌযানের,

And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness;

فَالۡمُقَسِّمٰتِ اَمۡرًا ۙ﴿۴﴾

ফাল মুকাছছিমা-তি আমরা-।

আর শপথ কর্মবন্টনকারী মালাইকা/ফেরেশতার।

And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command;

اِنَّمَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ لَصَادِقٌ ۙ﴿۵﴾

ইন্নামা-তূ‘আদূনা লাসা-দিক।

তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত প্রতিশ্রুতি অবশ্যই সত্য।

Verily, that which you are promised (i.e. Resurrection in the Hereafter and receiving the reward or punishment of good or bad deeds, etc.) is surely true.

وَّ اِنَّ الدِّیۡنَ لَوَاقِعٌ ؕ﴿۶﴾

ওয়া ইন্নাদ দীনা লাওয়া-কি‘উ।

কর্মফল দিন অবশ্যম্ভাবী।

And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen.

وَ السَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الۡحُبُکِ ۙ﴿۷﴾

ওয়াছছামাই যা-তিল হুবুক।

শপথ বহু পথ বিশিষ্ট আকাশের!

By the heaven full of paths,

اِنَّکُمۡ لَفِیۡ قَوۡلٍ مُّخۡتَلِفٍ ۙ﴿۸﴾

ইন্নাকুম লাফী কাওলিম মুখতালিফ।

তোমরাতো পরস্পর বিরোধী কথায় লিপ্ত।

Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran).

یُّؤۡفَکُ عَنۡہُ مَنۡ اُفِکَ ﴿ؕ۹﴾

ইউ’ফাকু‘আনহু মান উফিক।

যে ব্যক্তি সত্যভ্রষ্ট সে’ই তা পরিত্যাগ করে।

Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah).

قُتِلَ الۡخَرّٰصُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۰﴾

কুতিলাল খাররা-ছূন।

অভিশপ্ত হোক মিথ্যাচারীরা।

Cursed be the liars,

الَّذِیۡنَ ہُمۡ فِیۡ غَمۡرَۃٍ سَاہُوۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۱﴾

আল্লাযীনা হুম ফী গামরাতিন ছা-হূন।

যারা অজ্ঞ ও উদাসীন –

Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter),

یَسۡـَٔلُوۡنَ اَیَّانَ یَوۡمُ الدِّیۡنِ ﴿ؕ۱۲﴾

ইয়াছআলূনা আইয়া-না ইয়াওমুদ্দীন।

তারা জিজ্ঞেস করেঃ কর্মফল দিন কবে হবে?

They ask; When will be the Day of Recompense?

یَوۡمَ ہُمۡ عَلَی النَّارِ یُفۡتَنُوۡنَ ﴿۱۳﴾

ইয়াওমা হুম ‘আলান্না-রি ইউফতানূন।

(বলঃ) সেই দিন, যখন তাদেরকে শাস্তি দেয়া হবে অগ্নিতে,

(It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire!

ذُوۡقُوۡا فِتۡنَتَکُمۡ ؕ ہٰذَا الَّذِیۡ کُنۡتُمۡ بِہٖ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنَ ﴿۱۴﴾

যূকূফিতনাতাকুম হা-যাল্লাযী কনতুম বিহী তাছতা‘জিলূন।

এবং (বলা হবে) তোমরা তোমাদের শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর, তোমরা এই শাস্তিই ত্বরান্বিত করতে চেয়েছিলে।

Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!

اِنَّ الۡمُتَّقِیۡنَ فِیۡ جَنّٰتٍ وَّ عُیُوۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۱۵﴾

ইন্নাল মুত্তাকীনা ফী জান্না-তিওঁ ওয়া উ‘ইয়ূন।

সেদিন মুত্তাকীরা থাকবে প্রস্রবণ বিশিষ্ট জান্নাতে।

Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise),

اٰخِذِیۡنَ مَاۤ اٰتٰہُمۡ رَبُّہُمۡ ؕ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا قَبۡلَ ذٰلِکَ مُحۡسِنِیۡنَ ﴿ؕ۱۶﴾

আ-খিযীনা মাআ-তা-হুম রাব্বুহুম ইন্নাহুম কা-নূকাবলা যা-লিকা মুহছিনীন।

উপভোগ করবে তা যা তাদের রাব্ব তাদেরকে প্রদান করবেন; কারণ পার্থিব জীবনে তারা ছিল সৎকর্মপরায়ণ।

Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112).

کَانُوۡا قَلِیۡلًا مِّنَ الَّیۡلِ مَا یَہۡجَعُوۡنَ ﴿۱۷﴾

কা-নূকালীলাম মিনাল্লাইলি মা-ইয়াহজা‘ঊন।

তারা রাতের সামান্য অংশই অতিবাহিত করত নিদ্রায়,

They used to sleep but little by night [invoking their Lord (Allah) and praying, with fear and hope].

وَ بِالۡاَسۡحَارِ ہُمۡ یَسۡتَغۡفِرُوۡنَ ﴿۱۸﴾

ওয়া বিলআছহা-রিহুম ইয়াছতাগফিরূন।

রাতের শেষ প্রহরে তারা ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করত,

And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness,

وَ فِیۡۤ اَمۡوَالِہِمۡ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَ الۡمَحۡرُوۡمِ ﴿۱۹﴾

ওয়া ফীআমওয়া-লিহিম হাক্কুল লিছছাইলি ওয়াল মাহরূম।

এবং তাদের ধন সম্পদে রয়েছে অভাবগ্রস্ত ও বঞ্চিতের হক।

And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others).

وَ فِی الۡاَرۡضِ اٰیٰتٌ لِّلۡمُوۡقِنِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۲۰﴾

ওয়া ফিল আরদিআ-য়া-তুলিলল মূ’কিনীন।

নিশ্চিত বিশ্বাসীদের নিদর্শন রয়েছে ধরিত্রীতে –

And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty,

وَ فِیۡۤ اَنۡفُسِکُمۡ ؕ اَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُوۡنَ ﴿۲۱﴾

ওয়া ফীআনফুছিকুম আফালা-তুবসিরূন।

এবং তোমাদের মধ্যেও। তোমরা কি অনুধাবন করবেনা?

And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see?

وَ فِی السَّمَآءِ رِزۡقُکُمۡ وَ مَا تُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿۲۲﴾

ওয়া ফিছছামাই রিঝকুকুম ওয়ামা-তূ‘আদূন।

আকাশে রয়েছে তোমাদের রিযকের উৎস ও প্রতিশ্রুত সবকিছু।

And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised.

فَوَ رَبِّ السَّمَآءِ وَ الۡاَرۡضِ اِنَّہٗ لَحَقٌّ مِّثۡلَ مَاۤ اَنَّکُمۡ تَنۡطِقُوۡنَ ﴿٪۲۳﴾

ফাওয়ারাব্বিছ ছামাই ওয়াল আরদিইন্নাহূলাহাক্কুম মিছলা মাআন্নাকুম তানতিকূন।

আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর রবের শপথ! অবশ্যই তোমাদের বাক স্ফুর্তির মতই এ সব সত্য।

Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak.

ہَلۡ اَتٰىکَ حَدِیۡثُ ضَیۡفِ اِبۡرٰہِیۡمَ الۡمُکۡرَمِیۡنَ ﴿ۘ۲۴﴾

হাল আতা-কা হাদীছুদাইফি ইবরা-হীমাল মুকরামীন।

তোমার নিকট ইবরাহীমের সম্মানিত মেহমানদের বৃত্তান্ত এসেছে কি?

Has the story reached you, of the honoured guests [three angels; Jibrael (Gabriel) along with another two] of Ibrahim (Abraham)?

اِذۡ دَخَلُوۡا عَلَیۡہِ فَقَالُوۡا سَلٰمًا ؕ قَالَ سَلٰمٌ ۚ قَوۡمٌ مُّنۡکَرُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۲۵﴾

ইয দাখালূ‘আলাইহি ফাকা-লূছালা-মান কা-লা ছালা-মুন কাওমুম মুনকারূন।

যখন তারা তার নিকট উপস্থিত হয়ে বললঃ সালাম। উত্তরে সে বললঃ সালাম। এরাতো অপরিচিত লোক!

When they came in to him, and said, Salam, (peace be upon you)! He answered; Salam, (peace be upon you), and said: You are a people unknown to me,

فَرَاغَ اِلٰۤی اَہۡلِہٖ فَجَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ سَمِیۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۲۶﴾

ফারা-গা ইলাআহলিহী ফাজাআ বি‘ইজলিন ছামীন।

অতঃপর সে গৃহাভ্যন্তরে গেল এবং একটি মাংশল ভাজা গো-বৎস নিয়ে এল।

Then he turned to his household, so brought out a roasted calf [as the property of Ibrahim (Abraham) was mainly cows].

فَقَرَّبَہٗۤ اِلَیۡہِمۡ قَالَ اَلَا تَاۡکُلُوۡنَ ﴿۫۲۷﴾

ফাকাররাবাহূইলাইহিম কা-লা আলা-তা’কুলূন।

তাদের সামনে রাখল এবং বললঃ তোমরা খাচ্ছনা কেন?

And placed it before them, (saying): Will you not eat?

فَاَوۡجَسَ مِنۡہُمۡ خِیۡفَۃً ؕ قَالُوۡا لَا تَخَفۡ ؕ وَ بَشَّرُوۡہُ بِغُلٰمٍ عَلِیۡمٍ ﴿۲۸﴾

ফাআওজাছা মিন হুম খীফাতান কা-লূলা-তাখাফ ওয়াবাশশারূহু বিগুলা-মিন ‘আলীম।

এতে তাদের সম্পর্কে তার মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার হল। তারা বললঃ ভীত হয়োনা। অতঃপর তারা তাকে এক জ্ঞানী পুত্র সন্তানের সুসংবাদ দিল।

Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: Fear not. And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism).

فَاَقۡبَلَتِ امۡرَاَتُہٗ فِیۡ صَرَّۃٍ فَصَکَّتۡ وَجۡہَہَا وَ قَالَتۡ عَجُوۡزٌ عَقِیۡمٌ ﴿۲۹﴾

ফাআকবালাতিম রাআতুহূফী সাররাতিন ফাসাক্কাত ওয়াজহাহা- ওয়াকা-লাত ‘আজূঝুন ‘আকীম।

তখন তার স্ত্রী চিৎকার করতে করতে সামনে এসে গাল চাপড়িয়ে বললঃ এই বৃদ্ধা বন্ধ্যার সন্তান হবে?

Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she smote her face, and said: A barren old woman!

قَالُوۡا کَذٰلِکِ ۙ قَالَ رَبُّکِ ؕ اِنَّہٗ ہُوَ الۡحَکِیۡمُ الۡعَلِیۡمُ ﴿۳۰﴾

কা-লূকাযা-লিকি কা-লা রাব্বুকি ইন্নাহূহুওয়াল হাকীমুল ‘আলীম।

তারা বললঃ তোমার রাব্ব এরূপই বলেছেন; তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।

They said: Even so says your Lord. Verily, He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower.

قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُکُمۡ اَیُّہَا الۡمُرۡسَلُوۡنَ ﴿۳۱﴾

কা-লা ফামা-খাতবুকুম আইয়ুহাল মুরছালূন।

সে (ইবরাহীম) বললঃ হে প্রেরিত মালাইকা/ফেরেশতাগণ! আপনাদের বিশেষ কাজ কি?

[Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: Then for what purpose you have come, O Messengers?

قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّاۤ اُرۡسِلۡنَاۤ اِلٰی قَوۡمٍ مُّجۡرِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۳۲﴾

কা-লূইন্নাউরছিলনাইলা-কাওমিম মুজরিমীন।

তারা বললঃ আমাদেরকে এক অপরাধী সম্প্রদায়ের নিকট প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে।

They said: We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah);

لِنُرۡسِلَ عَلَیۡہِمۡ حِجَارَۃً مِّنۡ طِیۡنٍ ﴿ۙ۳۳﴾

লিনুরছিলা ‘আলাইহিম হিজা-রাতাম মিন তীন।

তাদের উপর নিক্ষেপ করার জন্য মাটির শক্ত ঢেলা,

To send down upon them stones of baked clay.

مُّسَوَّمَۃً عِنۡدَ رَبِّکَ لِلۡمُسۡرِفِیۡنَ ﴿۳۴﴾

মুছাওয়ামাতান ‘ইন্দা রাব্বিকা লিলমুছরিফীন।

যা সীমালংঘনকারীদের জন্য চিহ্নিত তোমার রবের নিকট হতে ।

Marked by your Lord for the Musrifun (polytheists, criminals, sinners those who trespass Allah's set limits in evil-doings by committing great sins).

فَاَخۡرَجۡنَا مَنۡ کَانَ فِیۡہَا مِنَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۳۵﴾

ফাআখরাজনা-মান কা-না ফীহা-মিনাল মু’মিনীন।

সেখানে যেসব মু’মিন ছিল আমি তাদেরকে উদ্ধার করেছিলাম –

So We brought out from therein the believers.

فَمَا وَجَدۡنَا فِیۡہَا غَیۡرَ بَیۡتٍ مِّنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِیۡنَ ﴿ۚ۳۶﴾

ফামা-ওয়াজাদনা-ফীহা-গাইরা বাইতিম মিনাল মুছলিমীন।

এবং সেখানে একটি পরিবার ব্যতীত কোন আত্মসমর্পনকারী (মুসলিম) আমি পাইনি –

But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters].

وَ تَرَکۡنَا فِیۡہَاۤ اٰیَۃً لِّلَّذِیۡنَ یَخَافُوۡنَ الۡعَذَابَ الۡاَلِیۡمَ ﴿ؕ۳۷﴾

ওয়াতারাকনা-ফীহাআ-য়াতালিলল্লাযীনা ইয়াখা-ফূনাল ‘আযা-বাল আলীম।

যারা যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তিকে ভয় করে আমি তাদের জন্য ওতে একটি নিদর্শন রেখেছি,

And We have left there a sign (i.e. the place of the Dead Sea, well-known in Palestine) for those who fear the painful torment.

وَ فِیۡ مُوۡسٰۤی اِذۡ اَرۡسَلۡنٰہُ اِلٰی فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِسُلۡطٰنٍ مُّبِیۡنٍ ﴿۳۸﴾

ওয়া ফী মূছাইয আরছালনা -হু ইলা-ফির‘আওনা বিছুলতা-নিম মুবীন।

এবং নিদর্শন রেখেছি মূসার বৃত্তান্তে, যখন আমি তাকে প্রমাণসহ ফির‘আউনের নিকট প্রেরণ করেছিলাম।

And in Musa (Moses) (too, there is a sign). When We sent him to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with a manifest authority.

فَتَوَلّٰی بِرُکۡنِہٖ وَ قَالَ سٰحِرٌ اَوۡ مَجۡنُوۡنٌ ﴿۳۹﴾

ফাতাওয়াল্লা-বিরুকনিহী ওয়াকা-লা ছা-হিরুন আও মাজনূন।

তখন সে ক্ষমতা দম্ভে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিল এবং বললঃ এই ব্যক্তি হয় এক যাদুকর, না হয় উম্মাদ।

But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] turned away (from Belief in might) along with his hosts, and said: A sorcerer, or a madman.

فَاَخَذۡنٰہُ وَ جُنُوۡدَہٗ فَنَبَذۡنٰہُمۡ فِی الۡیَمِّ وَ ہُوَ مُلِیۡمٌ ﴿ؕ۴۰﴾

ফাআখাযনা-হু ওয়া জুনূদাহূফানাবাযনা-হুম ফিল ইয়াম্মি ওয়া হুওয়া মুলীম।

সুতরাং আমি তাকে ও তার দলবলকে শাস্তি দিলাম এবং তাদেরকে সমুদ্রে নিক্ষেপ করলাম; সেতো ছিল তিরস্কারযোগ্য।

So We took him and his hosts, and dumped them into the sea, while he was to be blamed.

وَ فِیۡ عَادٍ اِذۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَیۡہِمُ الرِّیۡحَ الۡعَقِیۡمَ ﴿ۚ۴۱﴾

ওয়া ফী ‘আ-দিন ইযআরছালনা-‘আলাইহিমুররী হাল ‘আকীম।

এবং নিদর্শন রয়েছে আ‘দের ঘটনায় যখন আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রেরণ করেছিলাম অকল্যাণকর বায়ু।

And in 'Ad (there is also a sign) when We sent against them the barren wind;

مَا تَذَرُ مِنۡ شَیۡءٍ اَتَتۡ عَلَیۡہِ اِلَّا جَعَلَتۡہُ کَالرَّمِیۡمِ ﴿ؕ۴۲﴾

মা-তাযারু মিন শাইয়িন আতাত ‘আলাইহি ইল্লা-জা‘আলাতহু কার রামীম।

এটা যা কিছুর উপর দিয়ে বয়ে গিয়েছিল তাকেই চূর্ন বিচূর্ণ করে দিয়েছিল।

It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins.

وَ فِیۡ ثَمُوۡدَ اِذۡ قِیۡلَ لَہُمۡ تَمَتَّعُوۡا حَتّٰی حِیۡنٍ ﴿۴۳﴾

ওয়া ফী ছামূদা ইযকীলা লাহুম তামাত্তা‘ঊ হাত্তা-হীন।

আরও নিদর্শন রয়েছে সামূদের বৃত্তান্তে, যখন তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ ভোগ করে নাও স্বল্পকাল,

And in Thamud (there is also a sign), when they were told: Enjoy yourselves for a while!

فَعَتَوۡا عَنۡ اَمۡرِ رَبِّہِمۡ فَاَخَذَتۡہُمُ الصّٰعِقَۃُ وَ ہُمۡ یَنۡظُرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۴﴾

ফা‘আতাও ‘আন আমরি রাব্বিহিম ফাআখাযাতহুমুসসা-‘ইকাতুওয়া হুম ইয়ানজুরূন।

কিন্তু তারা তাদের রবের আদেশ অমান্য করল; ফলে তাদের প্রতি বজ্রাঘাত হল এবং তারা তা দেখতে ছিল।

But they insolently defied the Command of their Lord, so the Sa'iqah overtook them while they were looking.

فَمَا اسۡتَطَاعُوۡا مِنۡ قِیَامٍ وَّ مَا کَانُوۡا مُنۡتَصِرِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۴۵﴾

ফামাছতাতা-‘ঊ মিন কিয়া-মিওঁ ওয়ামা-কা-নূমুনতাসিরীন।

তারা উঠে দাঁড়াতে পারলনা এবং তা প্রতিরোধ করতেও পারলনা।

Then they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves.

وَ قَوۡمَ نُوۡحٍ مِّنۡ قَبۡلُ ؕ اِنَّہُمۡ کَانُوۡا قَوۡمًا فٰسِقِیۡنَ ﴿٪۴۶﴾

ওয়া কাওমা নূহিম মিন কাবলু ইন্নাহুম কা-নূকাওমান ফা-ছিকীন।

আমি ধ্বংস করেছিলাম তাদের পূর্বে নূহের সম্প্রদায়কে, তারা ছিল সত্যত্যাগী সম্প্রদায়।

(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

وَ السَّمَآءَ بَنَیۡنٰہَا بِاَیۡىدٍ وَّ اِنَّا لَمُوۡسِعُوۡنَ ﴿۴۷﴾

ওয়াছ ছামাআ বানাইনা-হা-বিআইদিওঁ ওয়া ইন্না-লামূছি‘ঊন।

আমি আকাশ নির্মাণ করেছি আমার ক্ষমতা বলে এবং আমি অবশ্যই মহাসম্প্রসারণকারী,

With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof.

وَ الۡاَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنٰہَا فَنِعۡمَ الۡمٰہِدُوۡنَ ﴿۴۸﴾

ওয়াল আর দা ফারাশ-হা-ফানি‘মাল মা-হিদূন।

এবং আমি ভূমিকে বিছিয়ে দিয়েছি; আমি কত সুন্দরভাবে বিছিয়েছি এটা।

And We have spread out the earth, how Excellent Spreader (thereof) are We!

وَ مِنۡ کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَیۡنِ لَعَلَّکُمۡ تَذَکَّرُوۡنَ ﴿۴۹﴾

ওয়া মিন কুল্লি শাইয়িন খালাকনা-ঝাওজাইনি লা‘আল্লাকুম তাযাক্কারূন।

আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তু সৃষ্টি করেছি জোড়ায় জোড়ায়, যাতে তোমরা উপদেশ গ্রহণ কর।

And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah).

فَفِرُّوۡۤا اِلَی اللّٰہِ ؕ اِنِّیۡ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡہُ نَذِیۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿ۚ۵۰﴾

ফাফিররূইলাল্লা-হি ইন্নী লাকুম মিনহু নাযীরুম মুবীন।

আল্লাহর দিকে ধাবিত হও; আমি তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ কর্তৃক প্রেরিত সতর্ককারী।

So flee to Allah (from His Torment to His Mercy Islamic Monotheism), verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him.

وَ لَا تَجۡعَلُوۡا مَعَ اللّٰہِ اِلٰـہًا اٰخَرَ ؕ اِنِّیۡ لَکُمۡ مِّنۡہُ نَذِیۡرٌ مُّبِیۡنٌ ﴿ۚ۵۱﴾

ওয়ালা-তাজ‘আলূমা‘আল্লা-হি ইলা-হান আ-খারা ইন্নী লাকুম মিনহু নাযীরুম মুবীন।

তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে কোন মা‘বূদ স্থির করনা; আমি তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহ কর্তৃক প্রেরিত স্পষ্ট সতর্ককারী ।

And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him.

کَذٰلِکَ مَاۤ اَتَی الَّذِیۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِہِمۡ مِّنۡ رَّسُوۡلٍ اِلَّا قَالُوۡا سَاحِرٌ اَوۡ مَجۡنُوۡنٌ ﴿ۚ۵۲﴾

কাযা-লিকা মাআতাল্লাযীনা মিন কাবলিহিম মির রাছূলিন ইল্লা-কা-লূছা-হিরুন আও মাজনূন।

এভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের নিকট যখনই কোন রাসূল এসেছে, তারা বলেছেঃ তুমিতো এক যাদুকর, না হয় উম্মাদ!

Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: A sorcerer or a madman!

اَتَوَاصَوۡا بِہٖ ۚ بَلۡ ہُمۡ قَوۡمٌ طَاغُوۡنَ ﴿ۚ۵۳﴾

আতাওয়া-সাও বিহী বাল হুম কাওমুন তা-গূন।

তারা কি একে অপরকে এই মন্ত্রণাই দিয়ে এসেছে? বস্তুতঃ তারা এক সীমালংঘনকারী সম্প্রদায়।

Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)!

فَتَوَلَّ عَنۡہُمۡ فَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِمَلُوۡمٍ ﴿٭۫۵۴﴾

ফাতাওয়াল্লা ‘আনহুম ফামাআনতা বিমালূম।

অতএব তুমি তাদেরকে উপেক্ষা কর, এতে তুমি অপরাধী হবেনা।

So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message).

وَّ ذَکِّرۡ فَاِنَّ الذِّکۡرٰی تَنۡفَعُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِیۡنَ ﴿۵۵﴾

ওয়া যাক্কির ফাইন্নাযযিকরা-তানফা‘উল মু’মিনীন।

তুমি উপদেশ দিতে থাক, কারণ উপদেশ মু’মিনদের উপকারে আসবে।

And remind (by preaching the Quran, O Muhammad SAW) for verily, the reminding profits the believers.

وَ مَا خَلَقۡتُ الۡجِنَّ وَ الۡاِنۡسَ اِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُوۡنِ ﴿۵۶﴾

ওয়ামা-খালাকতুল জিন্না ওয়াল ইনছা ইল্লা-লিইয়া‘বুদূন।

আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি জিন ও মানুষকে এ জন্য যে, তারা আমারই ইবাদাত করবে।

And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).

مَاۤ اُرِیۡدُ مِنۡہُمۡ مِّنۡ رِّزۡقٍ وَّ مَاۤ اُرِیۡدُ اَنۡ یُّطۡعِمُوۡنِ ﴿۵۷﴾

মাউরীদুমিনহুম মির রিঝকিওঁ ওয়ামাউরীদুআইঁ ইয়ুত‘ইমূন।

আমি তাদের নিকট হতে জীবিকা চাইনা এবং এও চাইনা যে, তারা আমার আহার যোগাবে।

I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures).

اِنَّ اللّٰہَ ہُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الۡقُوَّۃِ الۡمَتِیۡنُ ﴿۵۸﴾

ইন্নাল্লা-হা হুওয়াররাঝঝা-কুযুল কুওওয়াতিল মাতীন।

আল্লাহই রিয্ক দান করেন এবং তিনি প্রবল, পরাক্রান্ত।

Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong.

فَاِنَّ لِلَّذِیۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا ذَنُوۡبًا مِّثۡلَ ذَنُوۡبِ اَصۡحٰبِہِمۡ فَلَا یَسۡتَعۡجِلُوۡنِ ﴿۵۹﴾

ফাইন্না লিল্লাযীনা জালামূযানূবাম মিছলা যানূবি আসহা-বিহিম ফালা-ইয়াছতা‘জিলূন।

যালিমদের প্রাপ্য ওটাই যা অতীতে তাদের সম মতাবলম্বীরা ভোগ করেছে। সুতরাং তারা এর জন্য আমার নিকট যেন ত্বরা না করে।

And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on!

فَوَیۡلٌ لِّلَّذِیۡنَ کَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ یَّوۡمِہِمُ الَّذِیۡ یُوۡعَدُوۡنَ ﴿٪۶۰﴾

ফাওয়াইলুলিলল্লাযীনা কাফারূমিইঁ ইয়াওমিহিমুল্লাযী ইঊ‘আদুন।

ফাওয়াইলুলিলল্লাযীনা কাফারূমিইঁ ইয়াওমিহিমুল্লাযী ইঊ‘আদুন।

Then, woe to those who disbelieve (in Allah and His Oneness Islamic Monotheism) from (that) their Day which they have been promised (for their punishment).
